Ego, Pride and Arrogance

Ego, Pride and Arrogance

The root of all evil and the enemy of man ego, pride and arrogance don’t allow him to defeat his ignorance.  In any case he needs victory either a fake or invented which amuse his soul in the direction of himself towards priority which raise him at the edge of deception ‘I……………I am………………..I’m god’.

"The dog of the ego has bared its teeth and nipped the spirit's foot. Since your ego predominates, you are a beast. Your properties are determined by that which predominates, oh self-worshipper! This ego...it drinks down the seven seas. It makes a morsel out of a world and gulps it down. Its belly keeps shouting, 'Is there any more?' This ego will swallow down the seeds of your worldly designs, and once you have planted them, they will surely grow." (Rumi)

It is man’s nature that he wants to be prominent in the world, so he refuses many things and prefer to remain ignorant. Actually when he can’t reach at the peak or some level of knowledge then he simply deny those words.

“Nay, but they denied that, the knowledge whereof they could not compass, and whereof the interpretation (in events) has not yet come unto them. Even so did those before them deny. Then see what was the consequence for the wrong-doers!” (10:39)

Man superiority is intellect, wisdom and thought and the peak of that is “Universal Intellect” (See 3:190-193). No doubt I don’t have but May Allah give us that intellect and wisdom, surely He can do anything.

“He grants Hikmah (wisdom) to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah (wisdom) is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding.”(2:269)

In coming weeks I will keep sharing something important which I can’t cover in one mail, I hope you’ll not break the chain. But before that one request let’s open our mind and make it strainer (filter), the words which attract by heart let it pass through and absorb in the heart, remaining throw it away. And don’t set the limits for people, words and sects. (See 39:18)

Beware! Shaitan and his followers do more effort to fall down a person who wants to turn towards Allah. So seek refuge with Allah from shaitan (23: 97&98), Read Ayat-al-Kursi (2:255) (greatest verse of the Quran. see: Sahih Muslim, Book #4, Hadith #1768) and recite Sura An-Nas (chapter 114) a lot.
