The Conscience.......

A person asked Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him): What is faith? He said: When a good deed becomes a source of pleasure for you and an evil deed becomes a source of disgust for you, then you are a believer. He again asked Allah's Messenger: What is a sin? Whereupon he said: When something pricks your conscience, give it up.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 45 Narrated by AbuUmamah
God creates in man the mind to understand, the soul and conscience to be good and righteous, the feelings and sentiments to be kind and humane. If we try to count His favours upon us, we cannot, because they are countless. In return for all the great favours and mercy, God does not need anything from us, because He is Needless and Independent. God asks us to know Him, to love Him and to enforce His law for our benefit and our own good, and to help others in need who are in need of the faculties and facilities that Allah has given us.
Most people of all religions are of the opinion that Conscience is God's voice prompting between right and wrong – They are absolutely wrong – for if that was the case then we would not be having so many different religions and groups we would all be following just ONE and a only Religion; the very reason we are so diversified and divided into different religions tell us that our conscience is just a training of the mind between right and wrong by every individual singly or collectively.
For example we should understand that a Hindu going to the Temple does not in the least feel he is doing wrong – on the other hand his or her conscience is telling him that they are doing the right thing when they go to the Temple and it would be the vice versa i.e their conscience would tell them they are wrong when they do not go to the temple – For the very reason they have trained their mind from childhood that they must go to the temple and if they do not go it is a great wrong; similarly the Christian, the Jew, the Farsi, the Muslim – all of them feel guilty if they do not go to their respective place of worship – for they have trained their conscience to that effect and it pricks them when done different.
We should clearly understand that all of them cannot be right – some of them will have to be right and some of them will have to be wrong – now who is right and who is wrong??? There is a touchstone to test the genuineness of gold, there are formula in mathematics to determine if the answer is right – for example if someone comes to you and says that 2 + 2 = 4 then you would immediately say yes he is right, and your conscience too would agree to it because you have been taught so by international standards and everywhere you go, thru out the Globe the answer would be the same; suppose someone did not know mathematics and you go and tell him 2 + 2 = 5 and you make him believe it and he believes in it completely, then if someone goes to him and tells him that 2+2=4 and not 5, his conscience would immediately tell him that he is wrong for the very reason he has trained his conscience (mind) that 2+2=5 and what you are saying is against his conscience and though it is very very easy to explain to him the mathematics of 2+2 and make him understand his mistake and change his belief to make him understand that 2+2=4 and not 5, and once he understands this, then his conscience would tell him that 2+2=4. After this if someone tells him it is 5 or 6 his conscience would prompt him that it is 4 and not 5 or 6.
This is exactly the case with most religions – most people have been made to believe that 2+2=5 and the only way we could make them understand the truth is by bringing to them a book of international standard, flawless, uncorrupted unadulterated, unspoiled, uncontaminated, chaste & faultlessly pure, a unique book from God [and mind you God is one who cannot and will not make a mistake]– and when people go thru it without any prejudice, bias, or preconceived notions and when people understand, that for the past 1,400/= years this book has survived, and it has been kept in its pristine purity without any alterations or changes and many people have been desperately trying to find fault with this book and its teaching and till date none has ever succeeded nor will they ever succeed for it is the book of God, and this book is the only book which exists in such a pure form and it is the QURAN and it is the one and ONLY book which could boast of all these qualities unhesitatingly and it is the TRUE guidance given to ALL Mankind, to guide them towards victory, in and for all the worlds; only then will people understand the TRUTH of religion, and their true purpose of life in this world. Only after reading this book would one's conscience be in a state of guiding him or her towards righteousness; and until such time none can say truthfully that they are being guided by their conscience for this is the only WORD of God that remains unpolluted and has successfully crossed the bridge of time in its original pure form.
For our conscience to guide us we would have to guide it towards Truth initially, only then would our Conscience be in a position to serve us and be an asset to us & QURAN is the one and only Touchstone to our conscience and if we follow this we follow God's word and then and only then would our conscience be a voice guiding us towards God's word "TRUTH" in the real sense and guiding us towards the Greatest of victories ever dreamt or imagined by mankind.
(It is) a Qur'an in Arabic without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against Evil. (Quran-39:28)
Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! it is a marvellous Qur'an, Which guideth unto righteousness, so we believe in it and we ascribe unto our Lord no partner. (Quran-72:1,2)
