American-Israeli military strikes on Iran
The age old adage that” small plants get crushed when elephants fight” is applicable to the oil rich Gulf Arab states today sandwiched between their American-Israeli warmongering friends and their despised immediate neighbor-Iran. Since the collapse of former Soviet Union, under the so called New World Order, Israel wanted four countries in the region destroyed- Iraq, Iran, Libya and Syria. Already they turned Iraq and Libya into waste lands and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
Syria is a killing field and they are busy with their next target-Iran. The United States where the governments, made and unmade by Jewish lobbies, and obediently implement Jewish military agendas is preparing for military strike against Iran .
The pretext for the war is the allegation that Iran is developing nuclear weapons though the US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta himself admitted on CBS’s Face the Nation programme on January 8 that” despite the rhetoric, America is aware that Iran is not developing nuclear weapons but is only pursuing “a nuclear capability”.
Iran also reiterates that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes. However America is busy manufacturing lies to justify its military agenda. The Jewish controlled Western media has already started selling these lies to gullible American and the world.
In this crisis threatening the region and beyond the Gulf countries, ruled as police states by autocratic tribal leaders, openly identified themselves with America and Israel knowing very well that Iran is bound to rain on them with rockets and missiles in the event of a war.
The destruction will be, as it happened during the 1990/1991 Kuwaiti crisis when Iraq and Kuwait were destroyed causing immense damage to other Gulf countries, to the benefit of US, UK and France an Israel who later rushed to rebuild. To understand the problems between the Gulf States and Iran one needs to know developments in the region especially during the past 60 years or so. Gulf countries were created by the British colonial power to suit its interests.
Those were the days when the Gulf people, Bedouins, endured extreme hardships in the harsh climate and arid landscape. Suffering for centuries from poverty and illiteracy they were far from modern civilization. Three proper meals a day was undreamt of.
Even around 1950s they were without basic facilities such as water, electricity, schools, health services, roads and the like and most people turned to the sea for fishing, pearl fishing and trade for survival. Those were the days when nobody was interested in the unknown and unheard of Gulf region where bulks of the population remain Sunni Muslims except in Bahrain where Shiites constitute around 80 percent. However things started to change with the discovery of oil which led to unprecedented development boom which in turn brought in every conceivable comforts and luxury in the world to their feet.
Construction boom with most modern buildings with all shades of architectural designs in the world changed the face of the region overnight turning Gulf into the focal point for corporate conglomerates, heads of states, weapons manufacturers and people all over the world for amassing wealth.
Iran on the other hand, is a fiercely independent country with a more than 7000 old history unlike America with only 212 year history (of wars) and Israel with less than 70 year history in the lands forcefully grabbed from Palestinians-refuses to capitulate to Zionist and American threats and blackmails.
Iranians are proud of their heritage and wanted to assert their rights and dignity and do not want to be subservient to any power.
In 1979 came the Islamic revolution in Iran. Instead of trying to put the chaotic country in order Iran tried to export its Islamic revolution threatening the Gulf rulers who ruled under a system blending un Islamic tribal traditions and Islam.
Thus the aggressive Iranian move to export Islamic revolution shook the very foundations of Gulf regimes floating in unprecedented new found wealth and comforts.
On the eve of the Iranian Islamic revolution six Gulf countries, -Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain, got together and formed the fragile Gulf Cooperation Council-GCC in 1979 though unity remains a myth. The Islamic revolution also alarmed Israel and its American, British and French friends .
This common threats and fears brought the GCC countries and the American, British, French and Israelis together. They jointly persuaded Iraqi tyrant Saddam Hussein to invade Iran.
Saddam dispatched troops in the hope he could annex Iran’s Arabistan area within two or three weeks and triggered the war, the richest in history, which continued for eight years.
Gulf countries financed Iraqi war machine They were happy that both Iraq, which was also regarded as a threat and Iran destroyed each other.
The war killed almost a million people, turned millions homeless, destroyed the infrastructure and cost the two countries around $ 200 billion.
Former UN Secretary General Javier De Cueller said in a report that Iraq inflicted an estimated $ 97.2 billion in civilian damage to Iran.
The only beneficiaries were American, British, French weapons manufacturers and Israel. It is unlikely that Iran forgets the GCC role in this war. Iraq emerged battle hardened.
This alarmed Israel which wanted to destroy Iraq’s war machine. Once again the Jewish lobby got America to dispatch troops to Kuwait and precipitated the Kuwaiti crisis which virtually destroyed Kuwait and Iraq. Saudi Arabia spent around $ 55 billion! Who benefitted? Israel, America, Britain and France.
In the aftermath of the war in 1991 Amman daily Al Dastour said in an editorial that “we have no doubt that one day this war would take place because Israel was calling to destroy Iraq’s military power.
Zionist Jewish terrorist turned Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir said” had the coalition forces not taken on Iraq’s military might, Israel would have to fight Iraq on its own in a war of no choice and would have overcome the enemy but at very high cost”.
Israel’s Science Minister Yuval Nepean said” it is in our interest that Iraq war machine disappears and I think it is in the American interest too”.
Reiterating these views former US President George Bush Sr, architect of this war, said in the aftermath of the war “Israel is safe, its supremacy in the region ensured and oil flows without interruptions”.
Respected Illinois University lecturer on international law Prof Francis A Boyle pointed out that” In his book, Clash of Civilizations, Huntington from Harvard who advised the Pentagon and the state department pointed out that the only Arab state with the capability to lead the Arab world and challenge the US and Israel was Iraq.
And so Iraq had to be destroyed, to maintain the domination of the US and its proxy, Israel ”.So with Muslim Gulf money Muslim Iraq was destroyed and divided into three, Kuwait was virtually ruined and other Gulf States immensely suffered. The Arab world, especially Gulf States and Iraq were divided with deep bitterness for generations.
Since the Kuwaiti war all Gulf countries were, directly or indirectly, brought under US security umbrella and thus under Zionist influence. Gulf States abandoned Palestinians while started dealing with Israel openly and secretly. Today the Gulf rulers, backed by US and Israel, remain absolute rulers.
They are the power and source of law. They own the nation’s wealth, resources, land and almost everything except the air the people breathe. They are above law and accountability is unheard of. Their wealth, nations’ wealth, is invested in the West led by US. So much so Rabbi Marc Schneier, vice president of the World Jewish Congress has told that King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalia had told him that “Iran is a threat to US, Bahrain and Israel”. The US military presence has increased substantially.
For example US Fifth Fleet is based in Bahrain, US troops are based in Kuwait, US Central Command is based in Qatar and there are thousands of military personnel in the UAE.
America together with Britain and others have also been deeply involved in oil and finance industries, businesses and many other sectors.
Gulf States failed to help poor Arabs in the region from Yemen, Egypt, and Tunisia to Morocco and Jordan.
Thus they are a despised lot. They are secular .They are more American and British than the American and British themselves.
They also treat American, British and European workers as super human beings while openly discriminate Asians, especially Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Filipino workers. Their hostility towards Iran has been an open secret.
It was under such circumstance that the Gulf States especially Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar have openly aligned themselves with US in its current campaign against Iran.
Saudi Arabia is one country which cannot afford to take this direction in view of the Arab uprising, regime change in Yemen and Egypt and its claim as the guardian of Islam and Islamic holy places.
Saudi involvement in the US-Israeli wars drew fierce condemnation from Muslims worldwide questioning the ruling family’s Islamic credibility and now the Saudi support to America against Iran is bound to radicalize Muslims worldwide.
Already US has imposed sanctions to economically strangulate Iran and the European Union is threatening a total ban on Iranian oil imports.
Saudi announcement that Gulf countries, are prepared to offset loss of Iranian oil if the West impose sanctions on Iran’s oil shipment, is almost “declaration of war against Iran ”.
Already Iran ’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi warned Arab neighbors not to put themselves in a “dangerous position” by aligning themselves with the US stating that Iran would attack US military facilities in the Gulf States. Saudi Arabia’s major oil terminal, Ras Tanura, is 111 miles away and Abu Dhabi is only 136 miles away from Iranian shores.
It was in these contexts that one needs to view the American preparations for war against Iran. In the event of an American military strikes on Iran, the response will be swift with unpredictable consequences on Gulf countries. No one could imagine the destruction. Addressing the Kula Lumpur based Perdana Global Peace Prof Francis A Boyle stated that;
““if the US attacks Iran , we could see warfare erupt all the way from Egypt to the border with India . This whole area convulsed in warfare. And who will be the primary victims of this war? Muslims. The US could not care less about Muslim life. Look at the demonization and victimization of Muslims that we have seen inflicted by the US and its surrogate, Israel .
Look at Guantanamo, where six hundred Muslim men have been treated like dogs in a kennel.
Pretty much the way the Nazis treated the Jews. Look at Abu Ghraib and the sadism and sexual exploitation and perversion of Muslims by their American captors.
And the same thing has been done in Baghram in Afghanistan. And when Professor Sharif Bassiouni, the UN special rapporteur filed the report with the Security Council against US practices in Afghanistan, the Americans had Kofi Annan fire him. Just as they had Kofi Annan fire Mary Robinson, the UN high commissioner for human rights, when she protested what was going on down in Guantanamo. The United States could not care less about Muslim life.
And the same is true for the genocidal apartheid regime in Israel. They would be happy to use nuclear weapons against Iran. They would be happy to break the taboo of Hiroshima and Nagasaki against Muslims in Iran.
It would create no problem at all for them. They are the supermen, and the Muslims are the scum of the earth. Ends
