Yahya (RA) related to me from Malik (RA) from Yazid ibn Ziyad (RA) that Muhammad ibn Kab al-Quradhi (RA) said, ''Muawiya ibn Abi Sufyan said from the mimbar, 'O people! Nothing keeps away what Allah gives and nothing gives what Allah keeps away. The earnestness of the earnest one does not profit him. When Allah desires good for him, he gives him understanding in the deen.' Then Muawiya said, 'I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on these blocks of wood.' "
(Muwatta Malik, Book 46, Hadith 1633)
Whatever Allah has destined for you will happen. What He has decreed to benefit you cannot be stopped, just as what Allah has ordained to not benefit you will never help you. The knowledge that we are in the best of Hands and that Allah has sought good for all of us, is an immense blessing. Knowledge makes one richer than can be comprehended because it brings about understanding. With understanding comes peace and security in who you are, your purpose and destination.
